Rebrand – Brand Identity

I have been waiting to write this post for about…4 years. Creating and identifying your brand is a tough process. I have been struggling with it since I started photography. It’s not just your logo or your website design, and although those elements are a part of your brand, colour, emotion, expectations complete the brand experiance.

I am so excited to say I have hired the amazingly talented Ravyn at Three Fifteen Designs. I found her through a photography group I am a part of. As I scrolled through her blog, I knew I had to hire her. I have been dreaming and saving for this day for a long time, and like photography, your brand is an investment. It’s meant to last.

In the past two weeks I have been pinning images, textures, and thinking about what I want my brand to feel like! I will soon be posting my design board which will include my brand colour scheme!

I am so excited to share my experience with you and I can’t wait to show you the final project.

Stay tuned for updates :)

Quesnel Engagement: Josh & Rachelle

In the two weeks leading up to the engagement session, Quesnel had two giant snow storms that dumped close to two feet of snow. By the time the second storm rolled in, we knew we would have to wear snowshoes. And that we did. It was so much fun photographing these two in the winter wonderland. Their love and acceptance for each other is out of this world and I am honoured to be their photographer. I am beyond excited to photograph their wedding in Prince Rupert this summer.

With fresh snow on the ground Jessica and her beautiful daughter Macy braved the weather to have their photos taken. It was a perfect day filled with love only a mother could have for her daughter.
